I am the Merrill Lynch Capital Markets Associate Professor of Finance (with tenure) at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

My research focuses on corporate finance, banking, and development economics, with particular emphasis on the role of institutions and government policies in shaping firm behavior and economic growth.

Since January 2024, I have been serving as Editor at the Review of Finance.
